Turtle Cove Cleanup: A Successful Restoration Effort

Updated: Nov 22, 2024

The Hutchinson River Restoration Project recently held a Turtle Cove Cleanup in Pelham Bay Park during City of Water Day. Volunteers came together in the morning to clean up the shoreline, working as a team to remove trash and debris from the area. Their efforts made a noticeable difference, improving the local environment and restoring the natural beauty of Turtle Cove.

Equipped HRRP's essential gear, they focused on making the area cleaner and safer, helping protect both the wildlife and the health of the Hutchinson River.
